The Fielding Bible is John Dewan's book published in February 2006 on advanced fielding analysis. The book contains articles by Dewan and Bill James on fielding analysis and introduces the various rating systems featured in the book. The most notable content is the introduction of the Plus/Minus System, which measures a fielder's range based on Baseball Info Solutions' detailed hit location and trajectory information.
Three years later, Dewan and the BIS team published The Fielding Bible -- Volume II.
